Everyone knows we only go there to pick up chicks...

As a student in Library and Information Science I am insulted!

Of course, I also agree to an extent.

Chemistry and semantical java programming (get to the good stuff already! I don't care about bank software, stfu already!).

Medicine, the most useless field of study and subject in the world. We are probably way better off without it.

First thing that comes to mind is geology, but im sure if I gave it some thought I could come up with something better (worse?).

To me there was nothing more fascinating than studying the processes that shaped and continue to shape on a daily basis the world around me. From the time I was a little kid I would pick up interesting looking rocks and bring them home and even today I am somewhat dangerous to drive through the mountains with as I love looking at road cuts and the exposed strata.

Oh, and I'm gonna go with a pharmacist degree. Four years of undergrad and four years of grad in how to operate a cash register.

I won't be complaining when I'm pulling in 100-130K a year.

Not to mention very flexible hours with 24 hour pharmacies.

And schools usually offer a 2+4 year program.

You're joking, right? Either you do field geology, which basically means they pay you to go camping, or you do lab geology, which is messing around with lasers and high-pressure apparatus and such. Not boring.

Statistics maybe...

I always found earth science particularly boring... the study of different types of rocks and whatnot. I'm sure that has a more specific name. Rock science can't be right though, that's the study of Keith Richards! Edit: I was looking for 'geology.' Clearly a 10 hour workday has addled my brain.

How can you find chemistry boring? High school chemistry was so easy. It's basically doing really easy math problems. I can't speak on college-level chemistry...

College level chemistry owns. It's all about the bombs and drugs, man.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Econ. yet, although I personally loved my Econ classes in college.

Accounting had to be one of the worst though.
