Another vote for Hey Ya. And also if I hear "Like a Rock" on those truck commercials one more time my TV will have my foot in it.

"Are you gonna be my girl" Or something like that.. HORRIBLE song... I'd rather listen to rap instead of hearing that song. Its like daggers being thrown at my ears 🙁 Bastard rock stations played the damn songs alot... also on the list: White Stripes and the new age rock bands.. uck.. horrible...
 
This is due to a bit of temporal bias, but currently the song that annoys me the most is Uncle Kracker's cover of Drift Away... which is heightened by my gf's glee after discovering how much I hate it (which was in turn caused by how ubiquitous it was last spring)

You won't believe, but for me it's the song I heard on the radio just once about 7 years ago (not kidding). It struck me like a hammer on the head and it still plays there sometime (of course not often).

I remember some lyrics, but not the name of the song or the band (since they don't always tell that on radio):

It sings:

Lovers in the night... you are getting wild... all the time
<Something don't remember> you just keep on thinking
Of the heights of looove
You believe in money,
You don't have it honey,
Are you feeling so strong?

And then they sing something about bad and naughty girls.

If anyone knows what this song is pls tell me so that I can find it to piss someone off.
 
A girl who used to work with me would go around singing " this is the song that never ends" for hours on end day after day just to annoy us so that one gets my vote. My girlfriend would say the most annoying song is " Don't worry, be happy" by Bobby McFarrin. She used to be a DJ and had to play it so often it drove her crazy lol.

That song was pretty freakin' annoying the *first* time I heard it. Especially the part where he goes "allrightallrightallrightallrightallrightallright..."

I was beginning to think I was the only one who'd ever heard that one. 😀 Truly a horrible song. It makes other twangy country songs like 'Swangin' sound like fine works of classical music.
