i don't get it, so you're pro-creationist, but faith in God dwindling? Meaning of life is we're put here because of some huge mathamatical/physics equation that we can't comprehend. (i.e. 42) After we die we escape this dimension and exist somewhere else where we can't comprehend because we can't comprehend being outside these 4 dimensions.
 
The meaning of life is to know if life has meaning and that is something different for everyone.

Exactly. To take it even further, YOU create your own meaning in life, seeing as how there is none.
 
I don't know about the meaning, but I know the purpose. The purpose of life is not to sit around wondering about the purpose of life.

Theres 3 possibilities:

1. There is no meaning or purpose to life. Asking what the meaning/purpose of life is is like asking what a pebble's purpose in existence is. Ie. we're just here, we're nothing special, there is no purpose, deal with it!

2. There is a meaning to life, but we are absolutely incapable of understanding it. You dont try to teach a mouse quantum physics, do you?

3. There is a meaning to life, but we havent figured it out yet. Give it some time.


I'm stuck somewhere between 1 and 2, I dont accept 3 at all.
