Particularly in the area of newer movies rated way higher than they should be.

I loved Eternal Sunshine, but no way does it deserve to be as high as it is. It doesn't have widespread appeal and I doubt people will watch it 30 years.

The LOTR trilogy, while great movies, do not deserve to be so high. They were special effects movies.

American History X, Amelie, Memento, those I think deserve to be rated highly. Maybe not as highly as they are.

I personally think Quentin Tarantino is overrated, but he does have a huge following.... meh.

Wallace & Gromit in The Curse of the Were-Rabbit is in the top 250?
