I have to agree with tigerstyle: Doom was probably the most fun I ever had with a computer.
Deus Ex a close second.

Doom was so simple, yet so well designed and implemented that I couldnt leave it alone for more than half an hour.
I dont even know how much time I spent on it, but it was way too much. I probably could have had a life in senior high if I had never tried it.

EDIT: If I had to pick a traditional RPG its Baldurs Gate 2, with the add-on.
HUGE open game world with a zillion things to do and plenty of time to do them.

NOLF2 was funny ... smart humour.

I ask myself the same thing every time I think about the series. :brokenheart:

This is sad. I can't really think of a 'fun' game. Everyone I liked was filled with tedious, mind-numbing, profanity-laden moments that were followed by great relief and joy. Guess it'd have to be Deus Ex since it wa faurly straightforward, and filled with a pretty good adventure.
