The first game I ever played...I remember playing some weird Bomber game for (I think) the older Intellivision. Sometime around then we also ended up getting an Atari 2400 with the roller ball. Also had this small stand-alone system (monitor included) called the Vectrex (vector graphics, baby!).

I remember that the first Nintendo game I ever saw was Ghosts n' Goblins, though the first I ever "bought" was Kung Fu...traded a white mirco-machines lamborghini for it. Even with all of our Atari systems, we were maybe a year or two late on getting an NES.

Oh smeg, that's right. Sorry, my first game was the original Mario Brothers game on an Apple IIc. A pirated version no less.

A good question would be, "What is the oldest video game you still play"? Mine would be Civilization 2.

I can't remember the name of it but it was a simple black and white game that involved steering a spaceship from the bottom of the screen to the top of the screen through a field of moving stars. It was the first video game I had seen and I think it was in an arcade in Ocean City, MD around 1972.

Hrm, probably Earthbound for SNES. I'm trying to find a good NES emulator that works with 2000/XP so I can play Earthbound Zero.

I'm working on beating Splatterhouse for Turbo Grafix 16. I've gotten really close.
