What is the first lullaby you remember your mom singing?

It went something like...

"YOU BOYS GET YOUR ASSES BACK INTO BED! IF I HEAR ONE MORE PEEP FROM THAT ROOM, I'M COMING IN THERE WITH THE PADDLE!"

Oh, what warm and fuzzy memories...

One time we hid the paddle, and she used our own Hotwheels track on us. We never hid the paddle again.

Wow - our parents mest have grown up together. my parents theory: Lullabies are for Pansies.

She's got a smile that it seems to me
Reminds me of childhood memories
Where everything
Was as fresh as the bright blue sky
Now and then when I see her face
She takes me away to that
special place
And if I stared too long
I'd probably break down and cry

Sweet child o' mine
Sweet love of mine

She's got eyes of the bluest skies
As if they thought of rain
I hate to look into those eyes
And see an ounce of pain
Her hair reminds me
of a warm safe place
Where as a child I'd hide
And pray for the thunder
And the rain
To quietly pass me by

Sweet child o' mine
Sweet love of mine

Where do we go
Where do we go now
Where do we go
Sweet child o' mine

Glen are you sure that was your mom and not that hippy looking fella named Axel Rose...he does look sort of like a woman and you were young, your eyes weren't very developed...so it would be an honest mistake...

😀

Poor Amish...:frown:

something about a "bushel and a peck, and I love you"

she said I called it boo peck

I remember asking her to do it over and over cause she poked my belly in the song and I liked that
