I've found that a lot of people on gun forums are huge snobs. If you're not buying the absolute best, they don't even want to talk to you.

You mention a budget item or even tell them you're just plinking with it not fucking going to afghanistan, and if you don't buy top of the line, you're doing it wrong, no matter what.

Try a different forum then. There's a forum for almost every brand of popular gun.

With any product there are fanboys, but at least with gun forums there are less children and libtards.

ar15 and m4carbine are good sites, but there is a lot of snobbery there. Unless you buy the best, you are buying junk. It seems there is no middle ground. Either its a great rifle, or its trash.
