EGALITARIANS are for fairness and equality, regardless of sexuality and gender.

FEMINISM is "...for women". Period.

Let me know when feminists mount the fight to force women to register for the draft under penalty of law.

Exactly. The feminist movement is fighting for all of the goodies, none of the responsibilities and drawbacks.

Women are so lucky that they're never hit!

Why would you consider that lucky?

Equality, right? Men are expected to be tough and willing to fight. So why don't we hold women to the same standard?

Some guy gets in your face yelling and screaming, you are almost expected to knock him up side the head.

Some woman gets in your face yelling and screaming, you are expected to restrain yourself.

Double standard, no?

Yep, double standard. The reason, is that a Man's body is built more for combat than a woman's body. The avg guy can completely overpower the avg woman. You can be very unlucky and accidentally kill a man, but its more likely to damage a woman's body vs a man's body. Gender dimorphism is a real thing.

I like how big of babies some men are about this. Woman says she'd like to get paid the same for equal work and the man says "you gotta be able to take punches then!" Woman asks to be considered equally for a promotion and the man says "I'm not holding the door open for you any more!"

There is a balance between social pleasantries and having workplace equality.

The worst part is that women want equality but they are unable and unwilling to love men who are only their equal. They can only love men who are their superior. They don't like men who are only their equal and they disdain men who are weaker and less wise than themselves.

QFT. (No, there's no "fishing" there.) Somehow I don't think "love" is the right word to use though... respect, maybe. She'll only team-up with someone she respects, and cuckold/abuse the one(s) she doesn't.

You are right.

Studies show that women who make more money than her husband are more likely to cheat.

And that matters how?

If feminist want equality they must be willing to give up all their little perks.

Yes, I was trying to be more poetic and classic when I used the term love but I fully realize that real love on earth is very rare and sparse. It is actually something much less and much more base than real love that makes the world go round and plays and essential role in perpetuating the species.

EXACTLY! What does a woman not taking a punch or a man opening a door for a woman have to do with women getting paid equally for the same amount of work? Nothing at all, so stop spewing that.

It isn't all or nothing like you are making it out to seem.

I think you've summed up quite nicely the perceptions and subsequent anxieties of quite a few men in this forum.

No. You're not supposed to hit either one.

"At the time this story was published, her petition had garnered only 71 signatures, a figure dwarfed by the 100,000 required for the White House to review the matter.

A similar petition, posted the day after Panetta's announcement, gathered a little over 4,000 signatures, still far short. Both petitions failed this week."

Seems her idea isn't very popular among women or feminists... ;)

Are you kidding?

The average male is against women being full-fledged military soldiers on the front line.

You disagree with... what exactly??

It's true that many male soldiers don't want the liability of female solders being double-targeted as well as unable to rescue any man shot in the field.

It's also true that the vast majority of women don't want to be there in the first place... they value safety and security above all else (which is why they want legislation for everything and basically have men so weakened that they can finally walk to their cars at night without fear of muggers and rapists.)

...and yes, that fear is being manufactured. Take a small risk, amplify it through a megaphone and repeat it until every woman is terrified and believes that the small chance of a criminal act by a criminal is a near-certainty from all men everywhere.

Because just saying that women don't want to be on the front lines makes them less equal then men means nothing when most men wouldn't want them to be there in the first place, or to be there themselves.

What the hell does it matter if women aren't actively campaigning to be on the front lines? Most men don't want to be on the front lines, but have to sign up with selective service under penalty of law.

There's a whole bunch of non-sequiturs being thrown around where a woman must come out in favor of being punched in the face in order to be equal to a man. This thread is hilarious because it's probably 99% disgruntled men bitching and complaining about women daring to want to be paid equally to someone else who does the same work.

Same old bullshit. THEY ARE PAID EQUALLY FOR THE SAME WORK.

Repeating the same bullshit doesn't make it true.

That's why I'm against feminism, it needs lies like this to feed the frenzy and keep women adversarial to men.
