I have a Xeon 3110 and P45 Chipset
I wanted to make sure I have fastest memory installed without
O.C. the CPU and a ChipSet
Here are the Pics

Right now I am running a pair of corsair cm2x2048-6400 DDR2

So if I were to get a faster memory what that would be ?

1333mhz will get u 1:1 if your cpu bus speed is 333.

He's using DDR2. I don't see any DDR2-1333 currently on the market.

So, what that would be ?
DDR2 1066 PC2 8500 ?

No, that would be a motherboard upgrade so you can use DDR3. Then, since you're upgrading motherboards, may as well spring the $130 for a Core i3 2100. It will be faster than your Xeon 3110 and you may even break even after selling it on Ebay.

DDR2-667 a.k.a. PC2-5300 (sometimes rated as PC2-5400)

It's always best not to mix memory rated at different voltages and timings.
1.8v is the DDR2 standard.

Well for starters you could run your memory in spec! It's rated 5-6-6-16 and you are running it 5-7-7-24. Just make sure it is set to the spec 2.1volts. As far as performance you can usually get arround 8000mbs from any decent memory when you tweak the tRD (sometimes reffered to as "performance level"). I'm pretty sure P45 has that feature.

For example my X48 running the listed DIMMs I get about 6257 mbs read/4828write/5423copy and about 80ns latency using everest memory benchmark at the default DDR2-800 4-4-4-15 tRD12. By tweaking that (granted a little OC) to DDR2-960 5-5-5-15 tRD7 that changes to 8171mbs read/7198write/7825copy and about 62ns latency.

Gota check some of my figures when I get home and I can post some SS if you like. Either way, the principle is sound!

EDIT: Just looking through my files at home and found I saved my data from my testing. Here is the setup with no OC after tweaking:

7960 read / 7247 write / 7613 copy @ 62ns - Thats DDR2-800 @ 4-4-4-15 tRD-7

Post some screen Shots
Cause I really do not want to sell the MB CPU and Memory
and buy all new stuff.
It usally costing more.
I just want to Tweaked the system out to MAX
I will look into memory Timings (Thanks)

Well I'm not sure this helps much (seems to me you need some geek knowledge ^.^) but here are a few SS of some of my tests with my own system and CPUz shots.

This one is everything all clocks/settings default:

This one is default memory config with OC'd CPU:

This one is tuned memory config at default memory clocks but with OC'd CPU:

This is with my OC and tuned config:

Anyway, what you probably want to do is read Anand's original X48 review. It goes deep into memory tuning on the 4 series chipset and what tRD is all about. I'd suggest reading over pages 3-9.

Make sure all the memory settings in manual mode.

For example, in my BIOS if you leave it in "auto" mode you can only select the speed but not timmings. If I choose "manual" then all the other timming options pop-up for selection. I'm not sure what your BIOS looks like but just follow the EPP-SPD on the DIMMs for starters; match the names / suffixes the best you can.

Someone with a gigabyte mobo might be able to help you more with that; I'm kind of an ASUS fanboy and have never owned a GB board. :p
