what is the easiest way to slipstream and update to XPSp2 in .bin format

I have a .bin and a .cue form of XPSP2 and I have a full update file I could sliupstream into the XPSp2 so I do not need to spend hours updating.
My cumulative full update is till may_2k5

Do I just burn it from .bin and .cue then rip to hard drive and slipstream? or is there an easier way without burning twice, directly convert and copy to hard drive then slipstream without the first burn from the .bin file? then burn the slipstreamed upto date as an ISO?

You can extract the .bin file (bin2iso, isobuster, winimage etc), maybe mount it (daemon tools, etc), or get by with renaming it to .iso and extract it with winrar. Slipstream then burn it.

it will take some time to figure out what you suggested since the tools you bring to mind are not tools I had used, but I know them.

bin2iso sounds promissing
mounting I have no idea why? or its benefit.
Deamon tools I have but not installed and I had only looked at them without having a need then and uninstalled them.
on occasion I have renamed video files with another extention and it worke but most often it did not.

I am not inexperienced but am inexperienced with bin files use other than burning them as a CD. Iso I have burned more often still what you suggest is a bit genneral for my present mind set and I am going to look into this and try and learn what I am missing

Step one: download alcohol 120.. Google and install it.
Step two: Open A120 and create a Virtual Drive if it doesn't (Options > Virtual Drive > 1).
Step three: Rightclick on your new virtual drive in A120 and Mount your cue.
Step four: Navigate to My Computer and marvel at a new removable drive on your computer that gives you access to the files on the bin.
Step five: thank me.

I had a copy of it in my archives and installed it. I did mount the cue file and I did see the virtual drive. The odd thing is it would not open the .bin file when I randomly tried several right click options in A120 suddenly Isobuster opend up and loaded the bin file. I selected all the files and dragged them to an empty XPSP2Pro folder and it unpacked it there.

So what Stars suggested to use it seems it does work and stars has to get the first thank you for the effort, 'Thank you Stars'

There was no ,cue file and I learned how to create it I did as the tutorial said to... I named the file the same way as the .bin put a .cue after it and inside I put on the 3 lines it suggested and named the bin file in the quotes.

the A120 mounted it but I could not view any of the folders or files.

well I will eventually learn how to use A120 for similar reasons...

You can use a program called Autostreamer .. it is Free and will do the whole job
for you ... just follow the on screen instructions. When it is done, you will have a
.ISO file to burn with Nero (as an image file) .. You can download it here:
