What is the difference in terminology between 'pwn3d' and 'owned'?

a word invented by Al Gore when he created the internet, and thus internet gaming. it is the same as owned but to a higher level. P is 1 letter after O in the alphabet. owned < pwned (and theoretically) < qwned < rwned < etc. etc.
