what is the difference between PPGA and FC-PGA. ??

do you know what the difference between ppga and fc-pga is?

PPGA is Plastic Pin Grid Array. The chip's die is on the bottom of the chip. This is the older way. FC-PPGA (or FC-PGA) is Flip Chip Pin Grid Array. The CPU die is on top of the chip allowing for contact with the heat sink and therefore much better cooling. Hope that helps
