What is the difference between OMNIPAGE 9.0 and 10.0 besides $.

I want to buy or update my packaged (expired) version of Omnipage 8.0 to either 9.0 or 10.0.
Any reason i would want the more costly 10.0 over 9.0?

Recommend any other OCR scanning soft besides Omnipage?
