What is the difference between "cute" and "hot"?

for me, hot is almost purely about measurements (ok, and a nice face), not necessarily cute.

cute is more about the overall package. a cute girl won't necessarily be hot, but is still just as attractive.

and beautiful... i don't know how to put that at all, it's something almost majestic. it's that "something i don't know".. in french, it's a "je ne sais quoi."
for me, it's classy, elegant, sexy, but not overdone, outrageous, or looking for attention. only a handful of girls i've seen have had it, IMO. but oh man :heart:
 
considering one of the main aspects of hot or cute is how attractive the person is, which is completely subjective, i don't know that you can really quantify it.

I disagree.

Cute= Cute face, maybe a slender, not-too-curvy body.


Hot=Cuter face, more curves, maybe a killer tan and/or hair. Slutty factor not needed.


Let me think of some cute/hot examples:

Cute: Selma Blair. Reese Witherspoon. Katie Couric (younger version) Nastia Luken. Shawn Johnson

Hot: Rebecca Romijn. Adriana Lima. Kathy Ireland (back in the day) Scarlett Johansson. Jennifer Aniston.

All hot, none are particularly slutty.

Then you have the "Just Damn Beautiful" category, which is headed up currently by Kate Beckinsale.

Hot = boner

Combination of both? Reminds me of Isla Fisher in Definitely, Maybe, probably because I saw that movie recently.
 
This seems to be heavily divided between the "cute is better than hot, which is slutty" side, and the "cute is for babies and puppies and uhohs. Hot ftw!" side.

Yeah I don't know why FBB is rejecting his destiny. With his photography talent, he would make a great nude photographer. The thing is you gotta be gay though.
 
Cute means she looks innocent, friendly, "nice girl" type

Hot means shes physically attractive, nothing else

Cute > Hot, but the best have both
 
Imagine Mrs. Robinson sitting on a couch across from you. She crosses her legs to clearly give you a view of her lace top stockings. Do you tell her she's cute?
