You need to be at the store when it opens... people camp there well into the morning the previous day... and it's basically a blood-thirsty rush for whatever item is in the highest demand.

Guys, the instore price for this card was $230 with a $30 MIR .. it was only $299 on the web ... if you weren't in line by 6:00 am, chances are you were not gonna get one. You cannot find a better price on a 6800 than $199, guaranteed. Good luck to those who got in line today !!
