Your handheld computer is emitting an auditory notification of an incoming communication request.

I just thought of something hilarious, if there is any kind of door bell or other distinct sound at your place of work, record it, and set it as your ring tone. I work for the phone company, I should record a phone ringing. Yeah, a phone ringing, as my ring tone, how creative. :D

Depends on the situation. One call just a 'Your phone rang' (even if its chirping).

Constant calls to a cell phone with an annoying ring on maximum volume in the office when the owner is no where around? Put the shattered remains in a box with a note on it saying 'Your phone wouldn't stop ringing'

I wouldn't dare damage someone's phone like that. But, what I would do, and did numerous times, is get into their settings & mess things up, including changing it to Chinese or Japanese or something. Navigate the menu now!

Or go hide it inside a cubicle wall in another department. :D

I still have a land line, phone "rings" when someone is calling. Cellphones can have different "ringtones" or buzz/vibrate quietly.
