I had one a few years ago when i was giving blood. I passed out right when they were pulling my needle out and i had a 'funky' dream. The dream was really long but i've forgotten a whole portion (which really pisses me off).

In the dream : I'm running through a forest and as i turn around i realize that its a flourescent T-Rex that's chasing me. The forest clears and i'm in my school and all my friends are around. A HUGE meteor bursts into flames in the sky and i realize that it's the end of the world. The meteor strikes the floor and we all start to float. As i float towards the clouds i feel moisture on my face. All of a sudden i wake up and see this guy wetting my face with a washcloth.

Ok so i admit it probably isn't the coolest dream around, but it felt weird having it :)

This one I had the other night... it was so vivid that as soon as I woke up in the middle of the night I wrote down everything I could remember in a stream-of-consciousness form. I'd paste it here, but the file is on my box at home. :(

I just had one the other night, I was watching a movie in my dream..then became the main character in the movie...the soundtrack, and special effects were awesome. Where do we come up w/ this stuff...it's amazing.

Another time I read an entire book that blew my mind in my dream.

I just don't get how this can all happen when we dream...truly amazing.

I usually don't remember my dreams :(
When I was a kid I use to have the same dream about BigFoot night after night! This was back in the mid to late 70's when all the BigFoot films were out. My family was REALLY into BigFoot and went to see them all. We even have a cave opening on our farm that we call BigFoot's hole.
I was happy to see on Deadline Discovery the other night that there are new studies going on and people still looking for BigFoot! I think he/she's real... I've seen one! :Q

It was a dream regarding the struggle between an ultimate good and an ultimate evil. I was on the side of good, and wept when one of my companions went to the evil side. I was happy when one of the evil ones came to the side of good. At one point in this dream i was confronted by one of the evil creatures, and quizzed. I got several right, and then answered one incorrectly. At that moment in time, a dragon fell from the sky into a nearby lake where it was chained to the shore.

That's all I remember, but seeing that dragon was pretty cool. So was working for the side of god.

I've had some awesome dreams in my lifetime, but my favorite was one I had when I was about 16.

I was climbing a mountain and getting all scratched up... it seemed like I was climbing forever. I finally got to the top and there was a tower with a spiral staircase, so I climbed to the top of that.

At the top of the staircase was a doorway of light, and in that doorway was a beautiful man dressed in white.

He didn't speak to me in words, but he communicated with me telepathically.

He handed me a sword and a white garment, kind of like a cape or a robe.

I knew I had to go back down but I didn't want to! I mean, I *really* did not want to leave this man's side. I could have stood there in that moment for the rest of my life.

I went back down the mountain and found myself on the shore, looking up at a million stars in the night time sky. There were other people there... I didn't know who they were, but I knew that they were there for the same reason I was, and that we were all waiting for something.
*****************************************************************

My best experiences in life have been dreams... I think in our society, the value of dreams are underrated. In some societies, the dream world is the real world... and the material world is considered an illusion.

The night before my daughter was born, I was terrified. I had an awful labor with my first child, and I had problems during my pregnancy with her. I fell asleep, and dreamt my dad, who had been dead for six years, came to me and told me everything would be ok. He wrapped his arms around me, and I could actually feel him holding me. I woke up crying my eyes out, just out of happiness. I ended up going into labor and having her quickly, without a hitch. I swear sometimes, that was really him, it just seemed so real.

I had a pretty disturbing dream last night. A co-worker and I were both playing computer games (with a Nintendo light gun!) at work. At one point I had to leave the room to get something to eat at a cafeteria(?). While waiting in the cafeteria line, I could still see my co-worker playing games. All of a sudden, my ex-supervisor caught him playing.

My ex-supervisor was ticked off, and had my co-worker ARRESTED. Immediately, two guys next to me in line were discussing the arrest, and discussing how the police were looking for ME, too. They were unaware that I was the one who they were talking about, and I promptly left the line. At that point, I woke up, but I swore at that point that the thing was as real as ANYTHING. It was crazy.

I doubt I had ever been as creeped out by that dream as any other dream I've had. Most of my bad dreams consist of my waking up just right before I'm going to hit a big-rig head on. That's pretty unrealistic, but getting fired from work for goofing off is not. :)

OK, this is gonna sound real weird.

I had a dream a couple of nights ago where I was talking to this chick(nothing special) and she asked me 'Would you like my genitalia?' I said 'OK' and I had a look down at my tracky pants and my family jewels were on the outside of my pants, as if my pants were my second skin. I then pulled my pants out to have a look down them and I had female genitalia down there. They looked a bit weird, they didn't have any flaps. I put my hand down and woah, what a sensation!

What do you read from that?

I've had various 'cool' dreams. Some of the coolest being the predicting dreams, which always seem to come true (had those 10+ times already). Often I don't remember those dreams until a few seconds before that event in the dream happens. Then for a few seconds I know exactly what everyone will say and do, and what will further happen.

The first times it was pretty scary, but now I'm kinda used to it.

Other cool dreams are those in which I'm 'hovering' in some kind of space, it's all dark around me and I can't feel anything. I feel strangely peaceful and awake in those dreams.

In a dream I went over a waterfall in a canoe with my roomate. He was freaking out as we started falling into what seemed to be a bottomless pit. I told him to calm down 'cause for some reason I knew it was dream and that we would fall forever and wake up eventually. (I think that was my conscious talking at that point). So my subconscious played a trick on me and right after I had said those things, a pile of sharp rocks zoomed up and we smacked into them. Here's the strangest thing, my head hit the rock and I faded to black. I actually died in my dream. I've never faded to black before or since then. Needless to say I abruptly woke up in a sweat. The experience was really scary, but the whole idea is kinda interesting.

Have any of you ever died in your dream before?

Once I dreamt that The world had ended and that everyone stood before God and one by one, were presenting Him the "treasures" of good works and service that they had accumulated on earth.
In this dream I was only 9 years old, and I was terrified, for I felt I had done nothing, and I saw person after person heaping so many wonderful things that they had done in their lifetime at God's feet.
When I went up I was trembling, and knelt before him and started crying as I presented Him the only things I had at the moment: my favorite jax and ball, a jumprope, and a few other small toys that were in my pocket.
In this dream I was so scared. And then I looked up and to my great surprise He was smiling at me. Not only did He accept my toys but he picked me up and put me on His lap and told me He was so pleased with me.
Ever since that dream I have never thought that God is the angry, judgemental God that so many people fear today.

Actually, the other day I had a dream about one of my assignments. The night before I was trying to figure out how some flahing would work on a building (I design houseys). Just before I woke up in the morning I had a dream where I floated up and had a look at the flashing on a building and saw how to do it. And it turned out to be correct. Not a bad nights studying, I must say! ;)
