Actually, I used to live in Ft Walton Beach and that did happen. 2 or 3 garage bags full of cash (obviously dirty money) washed up on a beach somewhere in Florida during the mid 90's and was reported on the news and papers. Some little kid and mother found them and turned the cash in to the authorities. Of course that was the last anybody ever heard of it.

I've just tried a Google but have turned up zip. Not surprised though. Cash coverup? Bush gov. Coincidence?
