What is the condition of this laptop IYO? Pollage!

I was going to say 8 until I saw picture #2 (It was the last pic I clicked on). Now I say 7ish. Definitely takes the price down a lot.

Edit, actually... now I say a lot lower. I looked at the pictures again and it's not that great. Should definitely go for cheap.

5704 is the only picture that shows damage beyond normal wear from what I can see... Well I can't really tell what's going on in 5708, is that the screen separating from the bezel?

I say 6/10 due to the significant damage in 5704. Possibly as low as 4/10 depending on what the damage is in 5708.

You shouldn't have said you were the buyer, that will probably influence people's votes.

The seller claims it is an 8. To me, if it were just scratches, that would make sense. The damage in the 2nd picture and the last 2 make me say no way.

5706 shows the slight separation between the screen and the casing. 5708 shows that same separation using gravity against it.

Yeah, I give that a 4 then.

Ebay, of the pictures he did provide, none of the damage was viewable. Before purchase I specifically asked the cosmetic condition of the laptop, he responded with 8/10.

6 at the most. Normal wear and tear is acceptable, but the corner damage knocks it down. That doesn't happen from normal use.

if he's not willing to throw you like a 10% discount on account of him not showing you the crack and the lcd not mounted properly... then at least send him a dog turd in the mail

voted six, but didn't realize what was going on in the 2nd to last picture until i read the comment. Now I'd say 4.

If Laptop on Ebay
{
If Seller states condition X
{
conditionx = X - 2;
}

If eBay pictures show condition Y && item NOT SEALED
{
conditiony = Y - 2;
}

if detailed pictures show condition Z
{
conditionz = Z - 1;
}

Actual Condition = Avg (conditionx, conditiony, conditionz, conditionz)
}

Hope this algorithm helps for any Ebay auction.
Based on this, the condition of this laptop should be
(6 + 4 + 2 + 2)/4 = 14/4 = 3.5

Based on this, the condition of this laptop should be
(6 + 4 + 2)/3 = 12/3 = 4

heh, I like that. This is why I don't buy things from ebay.

fvck that,
8 out of 10 means scratches, not structural damage to the casing. Paypal dispute asap.

Fixed 😉

that laptop would have to have kickass specs and a cheap price to make me even consider not shipping it back and demanding a full refund.

4/10

Generous.

That corner = no way. And separation between case & screen!? wtf?! Only reason I didn't put a 2/10 is because I'm not familiar with Sony laptops so I'm not sure if thats normal but it seems ridiculous.
