Looking to get *cheap* PSU for a friend. He current PSU is a no-brand 300w, and his new hardware are on the way:
A64 Venice 3000+
2 x 512MB Corsair Value
AGP Radeon 9250
ABIT AV8 with onboard sound
1 x 80GB HD
1 X DVD/CD-RW
1 X Floppy Drive

What PSU should I get for him, preferable below $30 (is this even possible??)

Its made by the same people who make Antecs powersupplys......

You can get away with a 350 watt psu for now but if he wants to upgrade his GPU, you will need somthing more powerfull..

Check out an Antec Truepower 350 watt too.. Or is it 380?

That does look like a good power supply. I ran the system in my sig now on an Antec Truepower 350 watt without a single hiccup for months, so he or she should even be good for future upgrades with that power supply.

The one I linked to is $30 and very good quality. Super-Flower makes great PSU's at low prices.

I wouldn't trust it... not my money though. :)
