I got the Sony 57" KP-57WS500 ... back in February for $1800 thru an employee's discount... but they should be no more than $2100 now and there's a $200 rebate with it right now too.
I couldn't be happier with it... also has 2 component inputs in the back...
Nope, not I. What is this you're speaking of ?Originally posted by: Dari

As for the best widescreen HDTV look at the Hitachi xxSWX20B series. Myself and a couple other members here have these and love them. I bought mine about 8 months ago after researching for a while. An article in a magazine that said "The Hitachi 51SWX20B is the best rear projection TV I've reviewed to date" sealed the deal for me. Went down to Circuitcity, got a $3K credit card, and bought the TV w/12 month no interest financing. I'll be done paying for that one day...![]()

Nice site, thanks.
One thing that I have noticed about projection tv's that I don't like is the glass that covers the screen. The ONLY brand that I have seen that doesn't have a glare coming off the glass is Panasonic, but I'm very leary about getting a Panasonic projection HDTV. I'd prefer a Toshiba or Mitsubishi, but I don't know if I'd be able to deal with the light and glares coming off of the glass.
