What is the best way to run a fsb?

Should my fsb be run at 133x2.5 or 166x2? Both are 333 which should run with my corsair pc2700 ram. The problem is that when I try to do 166x2 and then reboot my bios resorts to default values. There is a fsb jumper on my motherboard (Albatron KT400+ pro kt333) maybe I have ot change that. I think the options are 100, 133 and 166 and I am presently at 133. Thanks for the help.

i'm sorry, but i don't understand your question. what do you mean by 133x2.5 and 166x2?
😕😕😕

I want to know if I should run my pc2700 DDR memory at 133fsbx2.5 or 166fsbx2. Both are equal to DDR 333 also known as pc2700.

i thought you needed to change the cpu:ram ratio to set it as ddr 333
or set the setting in the bios as ddr333
by changing the fsb switch, you are overclocking the cpu
that's the reason why it won't start

Let me try to rephrase. I normally run at 140x2.5 for DDR 350. I have an AXp 2000+ which is oc'ed to 1750mhz since I upped the fsb from 133 to 140. Am I expressing myself incorrectly? My question is should I continue running at 140x2.5 or should I change the fsb jumper on my mobo to 166 and run at 166x2 instead of 140x2.5?
