I'm moving in a new home soon. SInce it's a new construction area, the street information is not in the postal office database yet. Our DSL provider said they could put the address in manually to check for availability. However, they would need the coordinates (latitude and longtitude) of the location.
What is the best way to get it other than using a GPS (since I don't have one). I tried to contact the building contractor but all i got was the answering machine.
Thanks

Go to www.topozone.com

Start with a map of someplace close, then move around until you're over the location where your house is going to be... zoom in a bit... It shouldn't be too hard. topozone gives the lat/long coordinates of any point on the map. If you suck at map reading, you might be 100 yards off, but that degree of accuracy should be plenty good enough for your purpose.

Thanks gopunk, DrPizza. Those two websites are great!!! I was browsing the map up there and saw the nearby airport (a private one). That airport should be about 200 yards away from my future house, that should be good enough
Thanks a lot
