What is the best way to kill roaches?

Smush em, then grind em, then burn em. It won't kill them but this should keep them immobile long enough to launch them into deep space.

That's funny, but you can kill an individual roach just by spraying with rubbing alchohol, which I have in a convenient spraybottle. It kills as it disinfects!😀

Many websites say that borax will do the trick, but others suggest boric acid.
 
Eons ago, one of my apartments had roaches (actually, whole building did). Ugh! Anyway, boric acid is very good, toxic to roaches and they never become immune to it.

Ditto with baking soda. Some mix it with powdered sugar but, by itself, baking soda is just as effective and extremely safe if you have pets or little kids around.

Sidenote: baking soda is good for a lot of other things. Everyone knows about killing odors in refrigs, etc., but also good for unclogging drains, i.e., 1/2 cup each of white vinegar and baking soda down the drain. Wait several minutes and then pour a kettle of boiling water into the drain to flush. Keep drain clear by flushing weekly with boiling water. Also good for removing stains
