Kick off a restest or new one and add one generation earlier. I know of a lot of people still using ti4200 and radeon 8500. At lan parties we make sure we play games they can also. Only recently with BF2 are the geeks looking to upgrade but they havent made the commitment yet. Their argument and I have to agree with it is one game isnt going to make them upgrade. They didnt upgrade with Doom 3 either. They just didnt buy it. I have to believe that they wont upgrade until x-mas time but since most have kids that may stay until the beginning of next year.

I dont disagree I just know there are a lot of 8500 and 4200 out there still.

Sapphire Radeon 9600 "Pro" 256MB

In case anyone doesn't know, I say "Pro" because it's not really. Sapphire ships it with the RAM clock below "Pro spec"; still above base 9600 spec, but below pro.

Own a X800 XT now though.

what was the point of that?

Well the XT is a bit faster in ALL the games I play. Essepcially CSS. Also I like to try out hardware. In a few months I'll probably pick up a GTX and then eventually trade for a R520.

Call it a hobby I guess.

what? I don't OWN both cards anymore. It was a pure this for that trade... I got the 6800 GT for $300 on a hot deal back in July of 04 and I traded someone straight up for the XT... I get all my stuff on hot deals... So no I don't have alot of money to "do that". I just wait patiently to get things for a bunch off MSRP... It will eventually happen with GTX's I'm sure. You just have to wait.

I'm sure you spent more money on your rig than I have mine.

Or maybe all the ones with the FX cards are too embarrased to post it in the poll :p
