What is the best TwinX1024-3200 Corsair memory model?

Hi guys, could someone tell me what is the lowest timing latency Corsair TwinX1024-3200 memory model? Is it Twinx1024-3200LLPT ? thanks.

Can't you just do a search where you're buying the stuff for "2-2-2-5?" Regardless, that wouldn't be the wisest use of your money, unless you have a P4 to overclock.

Don't know if its the best but the XL uses Samsung TCCD. I run a divider of 166 with FSB set to 285 on a msi plat. 2 a64 3000+

but how come the price of LLPT is $269? and the XL is only $249? I bought the LLPT for $269, should i return them and get the XL for 249?

I know for sure that the XL's do 2-2-2-5 cause I have them🙂

So get those, there is another model as well that is exactly the same as the XL (chip and timings wise) but they dont have the LED's on top!

Maybe that's the two prices you are seeing, the 1 with the leds and the 1 with out, same timmings though.

Nope, this is TwinX1024-3200LLPT with the PLatinum heat spreader, there's no leds. I bought this one for $269 at my local Fry's. I saw the XL for $249 so I thought that one is not as good as this LLPT that's why I bought the LLPT. But then I went to corsair's website and I saw the timings for XL which is 2-2-2-5 when you plug it in your system. But now I have the LLPT, I set the timing to 2-2-2-5, isn't that the same with the XL? or you think I should return LLPT and get the XL instead?

You should return them and go buy some G Skill LE memory if you want to OC.

If you are running at stock speeds, timings don't mean much. There have been a few threads with benchmarks proving this, and I've done benchmarks myself.

I'll be selling my Corsair PC3200XLPro next week for $200 ($75 off), as I am getting G Skill LE.
