<< DARUDE IS CRAP >>

I wouldn't go that far because I have only heard he song, but I guess it wasn't THAT great

I heard he is really snotty about his work in real like

<< darude's stuff is okay, but it all sounds the same.... >>

Dude, like all trance sounds the same.

Listening to Tranceport was impossible, because I spent the whole time trying to recall where they stole a particular beat or instrument from another band.

dude stfu, you can rag on any musical genre, it's not difficult

kinda like how all metal/rock/whatever sounds the same, just a buncha drums and guitars and buncha idiots screaming to a mic?

no i don't feel that way, but hey i can generalize it like that can't i?

get "dub plate pressure" sniper and mystical influence not trance, but electronica...its dnb/jungle, live it, learn it, love it
or dylan - go(the return)
or john b - i like to get it on
bad company
usual suspects
dara...

Favorites:

Vincent de Moore - Fly away (most of the remixes too)
Dj Quicksilver - Cosmophobia
Trance Control - Dream of Trance, and This Is My House

But guys, what category of trance does ^ ^ up there fit under?

<< The best techno I ever heard was a cover of John Cage's 4 minutes 33 seconds. >>

LOL - am i the only one who found this funny?

I've actually "seen/heard" this piece performed. I think there's a nest of birds in the rafters of our performance hall that someone should take care of....

The built-in speaker of the first IBM PCs had more musical talent than Tiesto though. More variation too.

Paul Oakenfold's Tranceport is one of the best mixes out there IMO

Trance is really versatile music. For me it goes well with dancing, exercising, working, sleeping and especially cleaning your room. And it works just as well in the foreground as in the background. Fortunatly my neighboors are young 😀

For nice veg-out music try---> Charles Webster's "Born on the 24th of July" album.

(I think the above might be considered House, or deep house.....whatever; I like it)

Also nice is his Cafe de Flore - Doctor Rocket - Latin Lovers mix

For a nice dance beat (I want to say it's like a rhumba or similar, but that's not what it is, ha): Oscar G and Stryke - Hypnotized (Charles Webster chunkster mix)

DJ Onyx - Elevate

good luck in finding it tho...i got it from my friend who bought the CD in Korea...but its awesome progressive trance...
starts slow, brings you up, then brings you down...😀...very awesome if your tripping on anything...😛
