What is the best "torture test" out there to determine stability??

I have an EpoX 8K7A...and I'm pretty sure it didn't come with anything like that...so am I screwed or can I get something?

i'm not sure what the 8k7a is supposed to come with (i'm getting mine any day...) but i guess you missed that budman said you can use motherboard monitor (it's a utility that checks the temps within windows), most people use it. you can get it here

When the calculator window comes up asking ? ?

If you just leave that window open, the calculation will continue. Try it with 30,000 or 40,000.

In W98, if you close that window it doesn?t reappear - and you have to do a CTR-ALT-DEL to end the calculator task if it?s a real long calculation.

On a Celeron 333 64MB ?

90,000! = 1.58 x 10^406,798 ... ... ... 8:08 (min:sec.)
120,000! = 2.24 x 10^557,389 ... ... ... 18:59 &quot;

I estimate my C333 would take 23.3 hours to finish 1,000,000 !.

you could get Bryce and tell it to render something... and play Quake 3, and burn a CD, and play MP3??

just type 150000, and then press the button that says &quot;n!&quot;. But, you have to stay at the computer to keep clicking &quot;continue&quot; every 10 seconds...
