What is the best STEERING WHEEL for PC?

Just got NFSU2 and want the best steering wheel. Only reviews I could find of steering wheels are from 2002 or older. Can anyone make some recommendations?

I have the Logitech Momo Racing. It is as good as I could get with my budget ($100) and I couldn't be happier. The pedal board even has retractable spikes to grip the carpet if you are into "agressive" driving. The wheel feels very realistic, especially when at the limit. In NFS5, you can really feel when you start to lose grip with the road.

The rubber for the wheel grip, instead of leather on the previous iteration (Logitech Momo Force) still feels great, despite it being completely synthetic. The clamping system for the wheel is also quite secure. Also, if you are a lefty, you can change the shifter to be on the left of the wheel. It is a very versitile and fun wheel, and a great price.

Well, since you asked:

The best is the ECCI Trackstar 6000.

Second place is a toss up between Thomas-Superwheel or Ball Racing Developement.

The Logitech MoMo (red one) is next.

Skip Act-Labs since they are leaving the race controller market.

The Logitech MoMo Racing (black) is known to have some calibration and reliability issues.

Microsoft has left the market.

This is all opinion and to provide the needed links.

Didn't Logitech just come out with a new steering wheel thats supposed to be pretty good? I was thinking that they have one that can do a full 900 degrees of movement. I know that Gran Turismo 4 is supposed to support it and I thought that it works on the PC.

You want a nice realistic expensive race simulation wheel for your cheap gas and steer arcade racer? 😕
You can pick up a set of cheap refurb logitech wheel from ebay for $10.

I've got a Logitech Driving Force Pro, the "GT4" wheel, with 900 degrees rotation. It works perfectly on the PC, and the force-feedback is awesome. For the £90 I paid for it, it is brilliant.

Of course, there are much better wheels/pedals, but then you start getting up towards $300 and way above, however if you are really serious about driving games, then they are well worth the extra.

However, for the arcadey racer that is NFS:U2, then almost any wheel will be fine, however I still recommend one with force-feedback 🙂
