I have an XP-90 with a 92mm Vantec Stealth fan... keeps my CPU at 44C under load, and is almost completely inaudible. 🙂

I vote for the Zalman 7000 family for best "value oriented" heatsink fan. For $30 you get a very capable hs/fan with a fan controler that's easy to mount, quieter than stock, and cools "good enough" for all but the crazies that push the bleeding edge.

Just my opinion of course - but based on fact😉

i have the Zalman 7000alcu and at full blast temps are tolerable and i cannot hear it at all from in front of my case over my video card (which is the quiet Leadtek 6800GT).
