Title says it all.
I've got an MSI K8N Neo Plat and eventually I plan on OCing the crap out of it with my 3200+ Newcastle CG. Zalman has some nice looking passive coolers, but Thermalright has some monstrous looking active coolers NB-1C and NB-1.
First, can anyone recommend any other northbridge coolers? I am particularly interested in effective passive solutions or better quiet solutions. The NB-1C seems to have an extremely loud fan, but I wonder how it would do without the fan on it?
I did some googling and found the following benchmarks:
Zalman Review
Thermalright Review
It seems that the two cool to about the same levels, and the reviews were done on similar systems. The Zalman is less than half the price of the Thermaltake and completely silent. Anyone see any reason to buy anything else? Thanks in advance
