My Microsoft Intellimouse is crapping out on me and was wondering what is a really good mouse these days

This mouse will mostly be used for normal use and playing Quake 2

So please let me know your opinions about some optical mice out there

Thanks

I am a big fan of my logitech mouseman wheel.

I always laugh my a$$ off when my buddies come over for DOD or Battlefield 1942, and they're used to the old rollerball style mouse and they are constantly lift the mouse off of the pad, making this dunk dunk kinda sound.

I've been using my Wheel Mouse Optical for a while with out any problems. If you want more accuracy, Logitech have a dual optical (don't know if it more accurate then the others).

If your MS mouse is crapping out, you can get a replacement from MS, free of charge.

Yep just get and RMA from them and get a new one. If not and you want optical, go with the Dual Optical Mouse from Logitech. Its truly wonderful. Precise and accurate.
