What is THE BEST motherboard sub-$100??

My ASRock is dead so...obviously I need a new mobo.

Which mobo is the best i can get for less than $100?

What is wrong with ECS motherboard? I think they are best cheap motherboard.

ECS stands for Extra Crapy Stuff/Systems... I had a bunch of ECS stuff, and I gotta say, never again...

I read the reviews and decided that even though it is rated 4 out of 5 eggs...i don't like it.
The users had too many problems with it.

Any suggestions??

I am actually willing to up 150$ for a non crap mobo... unfortunately I have yet to see one... Too many problems and instabilities, even reputeable manufacturers released boards that are just not reliable. I hope someone comes up with a good board

I had an ASRock before...well its kinda dead right now.
At least I got the chance to upgrade while I had it...after all, it is an upgrade board.
I moved from DDR to DDR2 and from AGP to PCIe.
Now i can buy a board with just straight DDR2 and PCIe support.

I now have my eye set on this neat little GigaByte.
It seems to be getting good reviews.
What do you all think?

ha. I was just asking people in my own system design thread what they think about this exact board... someone else suggested the GIGABYTE GA-965P-S3 aswell, but it seems to me that according to what people say the 645 is more stable... So I am still waiting for more input...

I haven't board the board yet. I'm still undecided.
I'm still on my quest to find THE BEST mobo sub-$100.
I want stability with good/decent overclocking.

Yeah I'm reading this thread and I have not read up about this Gigabyte board yet.
I would be comparing this board to an Asrock similar chipset board from Asrock before I would buy it.
Check their website for all the awards that their boards are receiving at the moment.
