What is the best MOBO for me.

I have made a prchase for a processor. Here is the detail:

AMD Athlon XP 2400+ Tbred "B"
AXDA2400DKV3C
AIUHB0315MPM
Serial No. 4162608250539

Can you guys tell me if this is a good buy and what is the best motherboard for me to crank up the juice for this.

Also, is this processor a good one? I get confused with the DUTC DLTC and all that crap. I can't believe it can get this complicated.

I am using (2 x 256) Kingmax PC3200 DDR on a Chaintech Apogee 7VJL which I will change with your recommendation.

The boards I can select:

Epox EP-8RDA+ nForce2 (Socket A)
Epox EP-8RGA+ nForce2 (Socket A)
Epox EP-8RDA3+ nForce2 (Socket A)
Epox EP-8RDA+Rev2 nForce2 (Socket A)

I also want some help with a some referal to MSI boards preferably NForce 2.

btw, DLT3C is the 1.5V version and are generally better than the 1.6V DUT3C version

MSI boards cannot do high FSB, not as high as Abit, Asus, or even Epox. The quality is on the side of Asus and Abit. I prefer Chaintech N-Force 2 board and to save money you can go Soltek. There is plenty of decent N-Force 2 boards, Epox is nothing special to be the only choice.

The sucky thing here in the Philippines is that there is a very limited market. No one has heard of Soyo and all I can do is drop dead seeing the Soyo Dragon. Market is ruled by Epox, MSI, Asus and ECS for Athlons. Jetway is also available.

I really love my Chaintech, I will keep it as memorabilia but I think its time for me to move on!
