What is the best in you?

What do you feel, either from what you think or have been told, is your best quality?

What do you feel is your worst?

My best quality, if it could be called a quality, is that I am funny. I know how to make people laugh.

My worst, in contradiction to my first, I am quite depressing, and can just as easily bring people down.

😛 Ok, I'll do a serious one.

Best: I'm hard working, independent and loyal.

Worst: I sometimes have trouble standing up for myself.

Best: I make everyone feel comfortable/important
Worst: I am too emotional

Best: I can see from almost every perspective.

Worst: I'm "socially anxious" (read:shy)

Do you ever find that you have problems making important decisions?

actually I do. Since I can see from every perspective, I can see the benefits of both sides of a decision. I usually die from the agony. I'm a pretty bad leader and organizer.

heh, self-pwnage ftw!

Best: Loyalty, dependability and punctuality

Worst: Control-freak, I'm pretty anal (spare me juvenile jokes) and I tend to get pissy if things don't go my way which pretty much goes hand-in-hand with being a control freak.

I'm glad to see that I am not the only person like this haha.

Best: people always feel like they are #1 when they are around me
Worst: I tend to let people walk over me until i snap...no good ever comes of that

Not to be sexist, but I find most women are like that.
They are very good at doing everything they can to make others feel comfortable and important, but are rather emotional and insecure with themselves because they have no one to do the same for them.

Best: Loyal, laid back, a good listener and generous to the point of hurting. I can be the best friend you've ever had and have had several people tell me that over the years.

Worst: I can be lazy and tend to put stuff off more than I should. I also had a temper problem for a while, but have since gotten myself to be much more patient and laid back.

Best & Worst : Somewhat extreme person - I either do everything extremely well or not at all. I'm an extremely genial fellow to 99% of people, but will rain down fire and brimstone on that special 1%.

Best Qualities: I am loyal and dependable when it comes to the very few people I care about, and I have also been accused of being highly intelligent. When I am in the mood to get something done, it gets done with 110% effort.

Worst Qualities: I am violent, stand-offish, arrogant and generally misanthropic toward pretty much everybody else. I am a pessimist and a cynic. I suffer from major social anxiety and depression, which means I am pretty much never in the mood to get anything done, especially if it involves people.

i believe you are correct. I have honed that skill of really "selling" myself and kindness to everyone just because that is part of my career... it has migrated over to all other parts of my life as well.

The emotional part is pretty typical for most females as well, but to be honest, i think i am over the norm of typical emotions a lot of the time, to the point that it hurts me i guess because i am pretty passionate... but i am working on my shortcomings too.

Wow

My best quality (and asset) is that I am very intelligent. I value that trait and am thankful for it.

However, it's offset by the fact that I have very little patience with people. When I'm at work, for instance, I don't want to shoot the sh*t or beat around the bush. If someone has an idea or a question, I want them to get to the point as quickly and efficiently as possible. People who come to me with a question or idea but act all animated and joking about this, that, and the other simply drive me up the freaking wall. Get to the freaking point and then LEAVE!

People at work think I'm "all business" with little personality. Although I'm very different outside of work, I haven't shown them that side of me. Strangely enough, I've never really cared to. I'm not sure why. I work with nice people, I just don't have an interest in forming deeper relationships with my coworkers.

Regardless of whether or not I'm content with this, I still think it's a fault.

Best: I can teach very well
Worst: I'm socially awkward in new environments (e.g. if not with pre-existing friends, of which there are few, I'm kinda in a constant state of anxiety/fear).

Best: Ability to restrain myself from doing most anything in any situation, coupled with so-called "intelligence"

Worst: I allow others to control the situation, coupled with large amounts of procrastination.

Best: Rational, balanced and keep my problems to myself
Worst: HUGE HUGE emotional barriers, at times too harsh on people

Hmm...

Best: I'm socially perceptive...also I can be friendly when I want to be, funny when I want to be, serious, etc.

Worst: I'm not shy but I fear rejection.

the new environments is a very common "problem" (if you want to call it that) in a lot of people.

how do you feel about teaching people you don't know?

Best: Jokester, Easy Going, Honest.

Worst: Brutally honest sometimes (hurts others feelings), easily demotivated (if I don't feel like doing it, it won't get done)

Also I'm very hard on myself, I don't forgive my own mistakes very well and my S/O seems to be trying to cheer me up as a result a lot, though it goes both ways in that department.
