The water kit Aigo recommended above looks really really good. There is also the worse performing but cheaper Corsair H-50 for $63:
http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...dlist=celebros

I would say performance wise you cannot go wrong with any of these air coolers:

#1 Noctua NH-D14
#2 Thermalright IFX-14
#3 Venemous X
#4 Megahalems / MegaShadow
#5 Thermalright Ultra Extreme
#6 Titan Fenrir
#7 Scythe Mugen 2

Bang for the buck though I would probably either go for Scythe Mugen 2 for $40:
http://www.heatsinkfactory.com/scythe-mugen-2-rev--b-cpu-cooler---scmg-2100.html

or the TRUE for $48:
http://www.svc.com/u120e-rt-775.html
Includes free BTK-1366 Thermalright LGA1366 Bolt-Thru Mounting Kit

I don't have a link but I'm 90% sure the Corsair H50 (or any entry level watercoolers fort that matter) will not outperform the best Air Coolers

Just saw a test review on the H-50 a 920 OC to 3.8ghz ran a temp of 72 degrees C. That seems a bit on the High side to hope to run at 4.0 ghz.

H50 is fine up to 4GHz on a capable CPU. Anything higher is pushing things a little bit much especially on warm days or if the radiator gets dusty.

That is one of the 2 things I like about this Cosmos case, I t dose a very good job of keeping out the dust and is quit too with the foam dampening on the sides.

The Cosmos stock has horrible inside airflow. My temps SOARED with that design as it sat. Modified it's OK as long as you're OK with metalworking.

NP I have a Cooler Master HAF close by to me that I was going to RMA but I keep it just in case i would need it. The big Side fan should help bring in cool air to the CPU fan.

I used the Cosmos because I didn't really care for the way the HAF looked neither did my wife but she uses a MAC anyway.

I need big case to fit this MB

Both of those cases will accommodate that motherboard with no problem.

They tested the True, Mega Shadow and the Venomous.
http://www.ocxtreme.org/forumenus/showthread.php?t=5576e

Venomous looked to be the better of the 3

Sorry I use to no how to cut and paste links but being they change the forum I cant see how to do it now.

that test I am not too sure about, vx should be closer to mega but the test shows it far ahead of mega. I think testing discrepancies here. anyhow I am looking at vx myself for the next build, it seems to be well designed and lighter too.

Just order a Megahalems. Thanks for all the help again all
A very fine choice. You are going to love the assembly process, it's the best I have used. When I was assembling the Megahalems, it felt like I was putting together optimus prime.

awesome! waiting for some first hand report from someone who has both. Can you post some benches here, love to know. I have a feeling vx is not officially launched because there seems to be a lacking of reviews from sites that usually would be all over this.

I will have to use HAF case for Air cooling for now I like how the case cools but I was in the Army for 9 years and It reminds me of it to much to sit by me all the time.
I may use this case I was going build for my son.

The save up for a TJ07 and water cool it once I get the cash.
I want a case that will have folks that will come for there hard drives that I got rid of virus's and spy-ware for them, asking how I did that and envy it a bit after buy things from Dell and HP

Out of all the cases I've used I liked this the best:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811112159

My only complaint is I wish the side panels were thicker - like 1/8".

I think Lian Li makes some great cases except almost all their cases are way out of my budget. This one looks very much like the Antec 1200s except made out of Aluminum!! I wish Antec will make their cases from Aluminum like SuperLanboy was, too bad they gone steel.

The 1600RPM is the stock fan of VenoX, and the 2500RPM is the Silver-stone FM123.

i'm surprised no one mentioned the ...

Tuniq Tower 120 Extreme Universal CPU Cooler
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835154011

got the top spot in the recent Frostytech top 10 list -
http://www.frostytech.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=2480

"In fact I'll save you the suspense and tell you straight up that it tops Frostytech's Intel reference chart and that it's one of the Top 5 best-ever heatsinks tested on Frostytech's AMD reference chart to date. And that's not comparing the Tower 120 Extreme against five... or even ten recent heatsinks... Frostytech.com compares it to well over 250 different heatsinks! "

14.1 degrees C temp rise @ 150 watt load.

$63

for the extra wattage of socket 1356, a good choice.

... unless this is for a height limited case.

Another good choice that is cheap, if costs are a concern is the CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Plus. Paid $28 for mine and it does a good job cooling my i5-750 @ 4ghz (1.32v). Using coretemp, idle of 39c and full prime95 load showing a highest core temp of 78c.

Looks like the new Tuniq Tower Extreme is indeed a winner. For a moment there I thought you were recommending the old Tuniq Tower 120, but thankfully, you were not doing so.
