NPR, National Public Radio/Public Radio International. I use the KQED portal 'cause it's my local PBS affiliate. So many awesome programs.

Well, I recently traded my desktop for a laptop. The laptop is much quieter, and my ears start to ring without some kind of background noise. So, I just want something to give me some non-distracting background noise(unfortunately, talk radio would be too distracting)

using last.fm - don't know that it's the best, but the music selection is good enough for now.

Don't you have a collection of mp3s? I still have mp3s from the Napster days in like 1999.

The only one I bother with anymore is Pandora, so I'm probably no help in determining "best." I'm mostly just posting so this stays in my history and I can see what everybody else lists.

No... I don't. I prefer not knowing what is going to play :p Besides, I'm not good at finding music. With internet radio, I can pick a genre and go.

I've been seriously considering getting satellite radio. I like music, I just don't like buying it or picking it.
