I cannot decide between the dark chocolate Dove eggs or the Lifesavers jelly beans..of course,we haven't dug into our cadbury eggs yet.

Which easter candy do you think is the best?

I'm impartial to the recees peanut butter eggs, similar to the cups but somehow more delicious.

I have those tucked away for later 🙂

I made ham, garlic roasted potato, squash and home made bread for dinner..everybody else here is napping now🙂

I'm not much of a candy fan, but my wife and I decided to split one of those little boxes of marshmallow peeps the other day. Sickeningly sweet, but something that's tolerable and enjoyable once per year. All the chocolate eggs, etc., are just the same chocolate in a different shape. Nothing special at Easter about them. Ditto the jellybeans - they're available year round as well, or so it seems.

But, if we're looking for the greatest confection of all time - dark chocolate covered raspberry jelly/creme filled with real whole raspberries in them. Sort of like chocolate covered cherries, but with raspberries instead, and made by a specialty shop with outstandingly good dark chocolate, not the cheap crappy chocolate in most mass produced candy.
