what is the best divx player?

hey guys, just got a new divx movie, it plays smoothly, but the audio doesn't play, I have tried sasami, real player, the playa, and wmp, any other good ones to try? (I know there is sound) Which is your favorite?
 
I use media player 6.4 for everything. The Playa won't play like avi's and stuff so I just install the codec and use media player.
 
you have the divx 3.11a and divx 4 codec too?? heh, actually, if you have the divx 5, it is fully backwards compatible w/ divx 4, right?
 
I got every codec lol, problem is on this one the audio will work for like 5 seconds when I fast forward to a scene, but then start skipping, then the same thing next time I skip, it won't ever play for more than 5 seconds even when I just let it go, so I figure I need more players! keep your favorites coming!
 
It doesnt sound like you need a new player, it sounds like you have a broken file. Find a repairer, not a new player.

What audio codec is it using? AC3 by any chance?
 
just downgraded to 6.4 from 7.1 on wmp worked, had nimo, with divx I have found it is good to have several different players on hand in case one can't be played on one of your other players. Thanks for your input!
 
sasami2k has all the bells and whistles. gdivx is the bare minimum if you're on a slow computer. windows media 6.4 is nice. i use wmp myself ... 7.0. i just hate it when it goes back to that ugly full mode and stuff. classic skin. =)

I use ATI fileplayer for my DIVX. it comes with any ATI card and has worked on 60+ divx (thats all I have d/l so far)
