What is the best CPU Fan to buy?

I had 2 1GHZ T-birds that ran really hot even after I bought copper heatsinks and such. CPU temp was aroun 100F. Not good, but I heard it was normal since T-birds are hotter. Anyway, I just replaced them with 1800 + XP's and I would like to know what is a good CPU fan/heatsink to buy to cool these things? Noise is not a factor. Spending limit is $50.00, anything above is ridiculous. Also, if you recommend me a good fan, please tell me where to purchase it. Thank you!

Update: I have a Full Tower In-win case, MSI K7T266U K7TPro 2 266A with USB 2.0 and RAID Mobo.

Look into the Alpha Pal 8045 or Thermalright SK-6. You have to make sure that the Alpha will fit on your mobo.

I second Minendo's sugguestion with the Alpha Pal 8045. Thats the heatsink i'm currently using and i'm using a slow but quiet fan with it. If you dont care about noise then get one of those delta fans. Newegg has the alpha's for a good price, like 35 without fan.

100 F is not so good. Many people around here would kill for such a temp. I run about that myself and feel I have great cooling. I guess everything is relative. I love my 8045. It allows me to use a very quiet fan and still maintain excellent temps.

Check out the ThermalTake Volcano 7. I'm running an Athlon XP 2000+ with it and my CPU temp typically hovers around 94 deg F. There are other factors to consider as far as CPU temp goes. Such as airflow in your case. The best heat sink in the world will be ineffective if it is sucking hot air into the CPU.

Okay, I edited and added my tower and Mobo. Now, with those, please tell me which is best for me. Also, I do not want it to be anywhere around 100F...I would like it to be below 50C.

I'm reading that the AX-7 beats out the Alpha PAL8045 in terms of cooling and price range in some reviews.

best heatsink we have reviews on PCA is the CAK II. It proforms extreamly weel because it is all cut from a single copper block not having the fins attached. Second best ahs been the cooler master.

The SK6 is a nextreamly good heatsink, but there are better now. and the swiftech is just to damn expensive!
