And why is one better than another? I can understand not wanting to load up Photoshop every time you want to look at a picture, but MS Paint and Windows Picture and Fax Viewer are almost instant.

you gotta be careful with the windows default pic viewer. If you rotate the pics it is permanently recompressing the pics. the more you rotate the more pixelated the pics get
