Another vote for Opteron 1**.

Still using my 170 ,4GB of DDR500 with a radeon 4890 it handles everything I demand from my HTPC.

That's a rather power hungry HTPC with a 4890 in there.

It certainly is but what am I to do with all the left over parts I didn't want to just toss them and you won't get much for selling them.

I can easily go IVY and use 1/3 the power but would rather see some use out of the opteron. I suppose I could ditch the 4890 for something in the low to mid end 7xxx series which would help.
