what is the best 2.4ghz cordless phone with digital answering machine ?

looking to get a new phone that actually works decient that has a good digital answering machine

one that you can hear clearly on, not one that has a crappy speaker that you can't make out what the people are saying

and some cool options if you can think of any

I have this and LOVE it. PLUS, you can add three additional handsets. And it's about as big as a medium sized Nokia phone.

The REALLY cool thing, is that each handset has it's own speakerphone that works very good. So when you're on hold, and away from the base unit, you can still hit speakerphone and stnd the phnoe on a table until they answer.

I'd have to say Uniden or Toshiba. As much as I love Panasonic cordless phones their 2.4GHz phones suck for the most part.
