I am willing to go used, I am just a little out of touch with the current state of the art...

I may get blasted for saying this...but I'd either go with:

Gainward GeForce3 ti200 64MB card - $90 w/ free shipping from Newegg
Gainward GeForce3 ti200 128MB card - $105 w/ free shipping from...you guessed it, Newegg.

I'd stay away from the GeForce4 MX cards.

yes, but not for $100. There is a Radeon 9000 with vivo for under $100 at Newegg.com
Otherwise, the ATi Radeon 8500LE 128MB is a good card for just under $100.

ti500 for 102 at TheComputerCenter (bought this card myself).
8500LE is now better than the ti500 with proper drives. The 128MB version is under 70$ on PW.

computer center no longer has the sale, but there are some other for under 110$. Link, but that one is out of stock.

Yeah, you are right. I remembered incorrectly. The <70$ 8500's are 64mb's. The 128's are 80-90$

Do you need special software to capture video or does the card come with it? (I am using WinXP, btw)
