So in a nut shell, these images are from a damaged set of film, and had to be recovered using a technique developed because this happened.
But not until after it was determined that the film was chemically destroying itself, this last image, and as a result, most likely the last to be recovered, shows evidence of damaged film.

It's clearly a tongue. They missed part when they shopped the image. The government trying to cover up the facts. Here's an earlier unshopped version...

When they faked the moon landing a lot of pictures were done using movie studio grade wallpaper, and they would take pictures at different angles with different lighting and adjust it to make it seem real. That pic was from when they were testing lighting before the wallpaper was ready, that's just a piece that teared off and they had to fix it. At the top of the tear and a bit to the right you can see a vertical line which is a seam. They would fix that in post production using solvents. Now they use CGI for that stuff, for like when they show pictures of the Earth being round.

I joke, but some people are actually into these types of conspiracies.

"Eh, do you know making your lunar conspiracies work would take even more effort than doing the actual landing and create even more conspicuous fake evidence you obsess about so much?"

"Nonsense, it's conspiracies all the way down!"

Sadly NASA did themselves no favor a few years ago with a promo spot featuring the Orion vehicle and the narrative that first it must be able to withstand the radiation in the VAB and "we must solve these challenges before we send people through this region of space". This was a gift from the Gods to the "hoax" community who instantly jumped on it as an "ah-ha!" moment, "see! NASA is admitting they have never sent anything past the belts!" when in reality the Apollo Command module went through the same process (unmanned flight first) before it was a "human-rated" vehicle. Most if not all of the "hoax" crowd do not know that Van Allen himself worked with NASA to chart a safe route through the thinnest regions of the belts and at 24,000MPH was through them in less than 2 hours.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KyZqSWWKmHQ
