What is Tahitian Noni Juice?

In China, Samoa, Japan, and Tahiti, various parts of the tree (leaves, flowers, fruits, bark, roots) serve as tonics and to contain fever, to treat eye and skin problems, gum and throat problems as well as constipation, stomach pain, or respiratory difficulties. In Malaysia, heated noni leaves applied to the chest are believed to relieve coughs, nausea, or colic.

The noni fruit is taken, in Indochina especially, for asthma, lumbago, and dysentery. As for external uses, unripe fruits can be pounded, then mixed with salt and applied to cut or broken bones. In Hawaii, ripe fruits are applied to draw out pus from an infected boil. The green fruit, leaves and the root/rhizome have traditionally been used to treat menstrual cramps and irregularities, among other symptoms, while the root has also been used to treat urinary difficulties.

Of course, like all 'old-world' medicines, take what you read with a grain of salt. Tons of people will swear by the stuff, and tons of people will say its a crock of ******. It is cheap enough that you can try it and make up your own mind. But beware, it does taste horrid.

Thanks, what's this company Tahitian Noni Inc. , is it a big scam or what? I'm just browsing online and just curious.

No more or less a scam than any of the other healthy ginseng / St. John's Wort / echinacea / etc. drinks. YMMV.

There's a bunch of places here in Boston where you can get it.

LOL it's not supposed to be a miracle cure. My dad used it to help with his throat/digestive problems (from graph vs. host disease from bone marrow transplant to get rid of bone marrow cancer) and he stuck with it for quite some time. Yes it is horrid but I guess it helped him some or he wouldn't have kept with it.

Noni!! I once met a very rich man and his daughter and they mixed me a drink with vodka and noni.

My mother has been drinking and selling that stuff for years. Not sure how well it works but she seems to like it.
