Stuff like O Fortuna by Carl Orff. The kind of music played during war scenes in movies, etc.

Err, usually whole pieces are not fast. Normally they start slow then build up. O Fortuna is a movement of Carmina Burana: Cantiones profanae cantoribus et choris cantandae comitantibus instrumentis atque imaginibus magicis.

And it's not orchestral. It's a cantata.

John Rutter's 'Gloria' - 1st and 3rd movements. May as well get the 2nd mvmt too, the whole piece is only like 20 minutes long.

Winter from the Four Seasons (except the middle part)
It's rare you'll find a whole piece that's fast. Usually the 2nd movement of classical pieces are slow (Largo, Andante)
Chopin has quite a bit of quick piano music.

Beethoven's 9th

Mozart's Requiem (just the chorus)

Matrix 3 soundtrack (Don Davis) - Navras (credits music) & Neodammerung (Neo - Smith fight scene music)

Daphnis and Chloe by Maurice Ravel. The whole piece (about an hour long) is gorgeous, but the ending will knock your socks off.

Real classical music or can it be made today? If made today I have plenty.

A little offshoot....Joe Satriani and Yngwie Malamsteen are more rock classical

I could think of many more if I wasnt so tired

don't forget Trans Siberian Orchestra.

oh, and Jupiter is a more up-beat movement than Mars, IMO

I like the drive that Mars has....similar to Orff's O Fortuna in Carmina Burana. Jupiter is just more grandiose (Jupiter = Zeus). The whole suite is awesome!

How could I forget the Trans Siberian Orchestra, or Apocalyptica?

Yup....many good works by him

Mussorgsky's Night on Bald Mountain is pretty good as well

Don't forget about "modern" (movie soundtrack) classical: John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Klaus Baldet
