If I don't like something I'll usually start a thread to bitch and whine about it.

Or, alternatively, you could just not use the app and move on with your life.

After further review, it's a more relevant app for ios than android. I believe android users have the ability to snap a photo, tap it and upload it FB or wherever, but ios users do not?
Correct me if I'm wrong...

So basically it's for people who think the rest of the world actually cares about their crappy cell phone pics?

It's Twitter/Facebook for photos. Basically it's for people who think the rest of the world actually cares about their crappy wall posts and inane tweets. Really, there're all about the same, but Facebook and Twitter at least have some limited purposes. I really haven't figured out what Instagram is useful for yet.

People do care. That's why they have "followers".

But they don't really. They're just part of the same social networking mindset where they think they have to follow (and be followed by) as many people as possible, but everyone who joins in is a gigantic narcissist. It's like how when people post a survey to Facebook, everyone posts a response but no one actually reads them.

I have a Twitter account, but I use it exclusively to keep track of a few people I like to follow (NASA and a few others). I never tweet because no one truly cares what I say, and the same is true for the vast majority of people.
