I get an boot error that reads "Failed SMOR missing" What does this mean? What is SMOR?

This happens before it can boot from a floppy / CD / HD.

Please provide more information and/or post in the Technical Support forum if you want help. Most likely something is wrong with your motherboard, but you have given nothing to go on.
